Starting your day in the Serengeti

The first meal of the day is rarely the most memorable, but then it doesn’t usually take place surrounded by African grasslands and stunning views. At both our Roving Bushtops bases we like to share the drama of a waking world, as the Serengeti darkness gives way to each new day. So after an early morning wake-up call, we take you into the Bush to watch the sun rise, the animals change shifts and new adventures unfold.

It’s a strange and wonderful feeling to be alone in the Bush, a few minutes’ drive from Camp, with no one there but you, our chef and your driver. The only other presence is nature herself, creating an unforgettable backdrop to your breakfast buffet, cooked meal and hot drinks.

 

We recommend you pre-book your private bush breakfast with us before you arrive. If you are on honeymoon, breakfast is on us, but for everyone else the cost is 50USD per person – but who can put a value on such an experience?!
